Bob Miller brings over 40 years of retailing experience to Albertson’s LLC. During his extensive retailing career, he has held various positions beginning with All American Stores and later with Albertson's, Inc.—including Executive Vice President of Retail Operations. He also served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Kroger Company; joining Kroger in March 1999 when it acquired Fred Meyer, Inc. From 1991 until the acquisition, Miller served as the Chief Executive Officer of Fred Meyer, Inc. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Rite Aid Corporation, and he also serves as a director of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. and Nordstrom, Inc.
