Paul Rowan joined Albertson’s, Inc. in 1988, most recently serving as Group Vice President of Business Law. He was also Interim General Counsel of the company in 2001 and 2002. Prior to joining Albertson’s, Paul practiced law with a preeminent law firm in Denver, Colorado, and then later as corporate counsel for McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation (now part of Boeing) in Long Beach, California.

Paul has been involved in all aspects of law department management and his business law practice includes company acquisitions /mergers, divestitures, corporate finance, commercial contracts, technology transactions and real estate.

Paul graduated summa cum laude from Albertson College of Idaho in 1980 where he also served as Student Body President. In 1984, he received his Juris Doctorate degree, summa cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon, where he also served on the Editorial Board of the Willamette Law Review. Paul is a member of the Idaho, California, and Colorado Bar Associations, and is a board member of the Mountain West Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
