LaDainian Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation Partners with Albertsons Market in Giving Thanks at Thanksgiving

Tomlinson’s Foundation & Albertsons Market Target to Feed 2,100 North Texas Families

FORT WORTH, TX (October 20, 2012) — LaDainian Tomlinson’s Touching Lives Foundation is out to make a big difference for the Thanksgiving celebrations of North Texas’ needy families this year.  At Albertsons Market stores spanning east from Cedar Hill, throughout Fort Worth and west to Weatherford, a $5 donation at the checkstand will help customers buy a Thanksgiving day meal for 2,100 local families in need.

“One of the key causes that Albertsons Market supports throughout the year is hunger relief, so to be able to partner with such an esteemed former NFL player and TCU Hall of Famer like LaDainian on this cause is a great honor,” said Wayne Denningham, president of the Southern division of Albertsons Market.  “We’ve seen a significant change in the face of hunger over the last few years, and it’s been devastating to so many families. We know passionate people like LaDainian are catalysts in making positive changes, so we’re excited to see the results for this holiday season.”
