In a heavy medium sauce pan, bring sugar & water to boil, simmer about 5 minutes. Add rinsed fresh cranberries and cook unil the skins “pop” – about 5 more minutes. Stir in the rest of the ingredients; simmer uncovered for about 5 minutes until thickened. Cool & refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 3 cups.
