1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain pasta and rinse with cold water to cool. Allow pasta to reach room temperature before combining with vegetables.
2. In a large bowl, combine pasta, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion and black olives. Pour the Italian dressing over the pasta salad and gently stir to combine. Add the feta cheese and fresh basil and gently stir again. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
